For those of you who aren't aware, E3 (the big gaming expo) is going on right now. Earlier today Nintendo made their big announcements about what new games they'll be offering up over the next year, and since I know there's a few Wii geeks here, I thought I'd show you some of the highlights.

I got most of the layout issues fixed, so now I am proud to announce the launch of SadSpirits.com. THere's a few little minor issues with spacing which I will get to, but the site looks good enough and I have enough content that I'm comfortable doing an official launch now.

So now that I have that out of the way I guess I have to start New Year's Resolution #2 of exercise now.... crap.

Doctor Doom and Dracula. . . and they're on the moon. I have no idea what Marvel is doing, but the way I see it, Doctor Doom = good. Dracula = really good. Doctor Doom and Dracula on the Moon. . . FUCKING GENIUS!!

I'm sorry I'm feeling rather cranky right now. I didn't mean that. I'm semi-sort-of in the process of kicking the caffiene addiction. It wasn't intentional, but there was only one diet coke in the house yesterday which I had at breakfast. So 24 hours ago was more or less my final sip of that sweet sweet stimulant.

So the options were either get more or make an attempt at ditching it all together, so I'm giving it another go. I did have a cup of chai tea this morning, so I'm not going cold turkey but I don't really know if that's doing a damn thing.

Anyway I'm feeling nauseous, my head hurts, and I'm quite irritable. I woke up at 6:15 AM with a splitting headache. So let me just go ahead and say "sorry" ahead of time if I happen to throw a "fuck you" your way at some point today.

Well. . . here it is. Very very mixed bag. The story looks pretty much like what the title "X-men Origins: Wolverine" suggests. Frankly I don't think anyone really cares about the story. All we care about are all the new mutants and characters we get to see. Here's my early thoughts, if you care:

1. Sabertooth - Holy fucknuggets. . . Liev Scriber does not seem to have pulled it off. Not exactly a shock though. He doesn't look anything like him, or intimidating in the slightest. He just looks like some guy with fangs and a ridiculous set of sideburns.

2. Gambit - I was really hoping this boy band reject from the OC didn't get much screen time, but he's very prominently displayed in the preview. He looks like a discotheque reject. But judging from how moist the kid in Twilight seems to have gotten much of the female population the casting agents probably nailed this choice and are patting themselves on the back.

3. The Blob - Looks really good actually. True they just needed a fat guy, but they found a good one and he works.

4. Deadpool - Well, if you didn't know Ryan Reynolds has the role you probably wouldn't have guessed that this was him. He didn't have the costume or a disfigured face. The only clue was him holding 2 swords.

5. Silver Fox - I don't know much about the actress, but she looks spot on. That's a good start. Wolverine's first love interest for those of you wondering.

6. John Wraith - Fuck it, you don't even know who John Wraith is. Nevermind.

ANyway watch the preview for yourself. Feel free to disagree with me, but just know ahead of time I'm right so that pretty much makes any differing opinions immediately incorrect and ultimately invalid.

Before we begin I'd just like to take a moment and remind all spouses out there that it may not be in your best interest to allow your husband or wife to have access to your password for Livejournal. They could delete your post, change your user icons, and in the worst case scenario they might just have incriminating video of you acting like Bo-bo the Wonder Retard they end up putting them on display. I'll just leave it at that, and offer a great big apology to anyone who watched the videos in "my previous post."

In other news (and less traumatizing at that) this shall be a DISNEY WEEKEND!!! The big Christmas gift that I'm getting for the family are season passes to Disney World and I figured we'd get a use out of them this weekend before the first round of black-out dates hit. So on Saturday I shall spend the afternoon and evening in my beloved EPCOT.

I have a goal too. I'm having a cocktail in 3 different countries this year. I'll skip England, America, and Canada (oooh no Molson Ice for me, what a fucking shame). I'm not sure Morocco has anything being a Muslim nation. So I'm planning on imbidibing in France, Italy, and possibly either Mexico or Norway. It'll be so wonderful it almost brings a tear to my eye.

Sunday will likely be the Magic Kingdom and we'll make it a point to hit the Christmas store there and look for a new tree-topper since our old Tinkerbell topper was apparently molested at some point and now has a crack.
